Last Saturday, July 2, I was fortunate enough to be part of Belle De Jour's Passion Series: Shutterbugs Unite. If you by chance don't what Belle De Jour is, well it's a product of the Viviamo! Inc. that is most known for their planners. Not only are their planners attractive to the eye but are made is such a way that they inspire, motivate dare and allow Filipinas to experience life to the fullest. Onward to the event itself, it was held at Venice Piazza at McKinley Hill. Thank you Lord, that the weather was simply amazing that day! Decided to go ahead a bit earlier than the said time to meet up with a new friend of mine from Tumblr, Pia. She's in 4th year high school but she is like adorable, down to earth and absolutely fun to be with! Cannot wait to hang out with her again :D I'll let my pictures pretty much say how my day went.

Now on to why my title has "Pocahontas" well that was the inspiration for my outfit for the day. Originally planned on wearing this more tribal printed silk dress but decided just in-case it would rain, Id have something a bit thicker.

(Yes that are actual feathers tied to my hair. Hahaha. I originally wanted to use the feathers as earrings but never got to making them so used them as hair ornaments.)

I would be the type of woman who would wear what I wanted to wear according to my mood. I would dress down in pants/shorts and shirt & sneakers when I feel lazy and then were a skirt to feel girly, but what has never changed for me is the fact that I love dresses. I dress simply picky you up. It's a key essential to any woman's closets & with the endless styles you can find nowadays, there is no excuse not to buy one. Well I was very blessed to have gotten to shop just recently (this is the perks of coming home) and well let's just let my pictures do the talking.

Yaay for prints! I know I'm going to be coming home to rainy season and my clothes don't exactly shout out "rainy season wardrobe" but I will make it work! hahaha. Have a lovely weekend lovelies! :*

While rummaging though my old clothes (like clothes I use to wear back when I was 12 or something) I found a couple of stuff & I was like a little girl in a candy store. I found the black skirt I'm wearing in this outfit and I simply adore how it just speaks for itself plus the fact that it is long enough for me. Hahaha. Finally got to shoot at our apartment's rooftop & I must say I am in-love. Will try to take photos more often up there.

Finally got to shoot after being so busy with school and catching up with friends (and whatever else) that has kept me away from being behind the lens. It was definitely different shooting back here and home, the sun seems so much brighter at this end. Hahaha. But nevertheless, thank you Lord for the chance to shoot.

I ~~“obviously”~~ need to brush up on my skills. I shot Lizzie (a friend of mine) for this shoot. Generally wanted to a desert princess theme but it was just insanely hot at that day, so we went for a casual forest/native indian princess feel. The first two photos pretty much show you what I do as a photographer (not a pretty sight to see. hahaha) and I go to lengths to get what I want done. *The dress I'm wearing is a thrift find I found in one of my secret places for just 80 pesos! I love it to bits! hehehe.

You know the feeling where you still want it to be spring yet you know it's pretty much summer. Well that's what I felt when I had to go out today. I was totally thinking of spring but as soon as I stepped out of our car, I literally felt the heat but nevertheless it was a fun day with family and love ones. Literally ate nonstop after service. Like crazy amounts of food and it mixed well with nonstop laughter with my cousins. Off to a side note, with hardly much packed for my trip this summer, most of my clothes are dresses and well borrowed from my mother. I cannot wait to shop before I leave. Hahaha. Anyways hope everyone's fine with the heat/cold (whichever weather you may be experiencing at the moment). I've been seeing a lot of PFW (Philippine Fashion Week) photos up and it makes me cry, but I'm still glad to be home for the summer. Family always first. :D

My family decided to surprise our mom and have dinner this year for Mother's Day. My mom's face when she opened her gift is priceless and the fact that we literally all got stuffed after dinner was just hilarious. :D Such a blessed, awesome 2011 Mother's Day!

Only one woman has stood by our side through thick & thin. A woman who has guided & taught us from right and wrong. A woman who has molded us into the person we are right now. A woman who would tell us how amazing we are & would comfort us in troubled times. Without such a woman in our lives, it would be incomplete. It's been an emotional roller coaster for me in the past 48 hours but the great thing about all of this, is that I know it's for my own good. God's been teaching me things about myself that need to change and now that I understand & see it, I'm willing to let Him take control. We can never really be in control nor plan what we want to happen in our lives. This time, I'm truly and completely letting God take control and humbling myself.

I am nothing without Him.

Currently on the third day of our week long prayer and fasting at church, and I've been so blessed by what God is telling me. I've been wondering why He's been so intent on literally focusing on strength & courage throughout my past devotionals and I finally understand why; it is strength to lead, to obey and to trust in Him. I am even more encouraged and totally on fire! :D

It's been quite awhile indeed since I have last blogged and I have dearly missed it so much. The last days of 2010 was such a great blessing and I cannot wait for what 2011 has in store. I know and believe God has something awesome in store for all of us this year!

Here's something I wore yesterday. I paired up a loose button down shirt, leggings and ankle boots to go for a chilled yet styled up look and oh yes, that's my 4 months old puppy who does not look like a puppy anymore! Hahaha.

The Lord has been blessing me so much the past weeks and I cannot thank Him enough! God is so great and He truly answers prayers. Well one of the many things that has been keeping me busy the past days was a photo shoot I did for a friend for her online shop. I have been having quite the busy days in the past weeks and with my school term finishing by next week, the work load aka "drawings, floor plans and terms to memorize" are piling up. Thank goodness we're fortunate enough to have a semester break this school term and I cannot just wait and relax (maybe even shop if my budget permits me too. hehehe)

I had a photo shoot with a dear friend, a week or two ago for her final project for her art class. I was one of her broken doll muses for the shoot which went really well. Fortunately enough, I got the opportunity to shoot with her during the session since I brought my camera, Oly, along with me. It was my first time to take pictures in a studio with lighting and it was confusing at first but overall was a fun time.

On a completely other note. Hehehe. Last week, I got the chance to attend Glitterati's Prive fashion Series 2010 at the Member's Club last September 1. It was a star-studded event and I do not mean celebrities, I mean bloggers. It was a bit intimidating to see such lovely people there since for one, I hardly blog as much as I used to and school just keeps me on a casual outfit basis lately. :S Nevertheless, I got to chance to mingle with some lovely ladies that night and I do hope that we have a reunion soon! :D

At my last post, I showed you behind-the-scene photos of the photo shoot I had with my best friend and yes, I finally got the actual photos from the photogs (photographers) like sometime this week. They are amazing though personally I wish we took more photos. Well there's always next time! On a completely different topic. I finally got to try out de-constructing a t-shirt and I must say, I find it quite fun. The cutting up plus the weaving makes a very unique shirt and who doesn't like unique pieces to wear? :) That's me on the left and my bestfriend, Kate on the right. :) Wove and cut it differently so I got different results.

Last Sunday I had the opportunity of having a photo shoot along with my dear bestfriend and a couple of friends at the nearby open shopping street area, Bonifacio High Street. :) I was suppose to be my friend's model but since the other model backed out at the last minute, I modeled for my other friend, Elise. Elise did my makeup and Kate's makeup. :) We had this whole evening, night out glam look going on. :) Take note: These are not the actual photo shoot pictures, these are the "behind the scenes" photos. :D

Expect the Unexpected

Hello loves! I know it's been quite awhile since I last said hello to the blog world. I've been busy with final exams and school work so it has been quite the busy month. I hope all is well with everyone. :) I finally got to meet a dear friend of mine last Wednesday. We had dessert at Sonja's Cupcakes at Serendra then walked around the High Street (we did a quick photo shoot of sorts while we were there since I knew I had to post something fashion related here. hehehe). Hope y'all having a fun time. And oh, Happy Independence Day to the Philippines! I am very proud to be a Filipino. :)

Tis' The Season for Goodbyes and Hellos

Last night, I got the opportunity of going out and having dinner with family and friends. Well they weren't really my family, more like my adopted family since it happened to be my best friend, her family and relatives. The cause for the family gathering and celebration? It was my best friend's sister's graduation yesterday. After some pain-staking long years of studying and hospital duties, she finally graduated with a degree in Nursing. :)

This is me, my best friend and her sister. Oh and that lil cute shihtzu is Yuwee (aka my boyfriend..hehehe) The sister's hair isn't really that red but when photographed it seems brighter than usual. Honestly I find it awesome; makes me want to color my hair. :)

I just had to have a picture inside the Korean food store. :)

Also had to take a picture holding the korean "cookies and cream" ice-cream popsicle sticks we had for dessert. :D They were really good. I think I'll try the fruit flavors next time.

Of course last shot of the night before heading home, had to be with my best friend. We somewhat have the same style, she just happens to like her clothes shorter and tighter compared to me. :) Hahaha.

(P.s. I don't know why my legs seem so shiny here and well in most of the pics. I don't think its my lotion. Hmmm. I put this up cause the dogs were there and well I liked the blurry effect)

Yes hello my lovely ladies and guys. :) I am finally back after a tedious yet enjoying month of moving, traveling and studying. :) A quick touch up on what I've been up to. I went back home to the Philippines last March 30 and I've been quite the busy bee. Went straight ahead and enrolled in school so now I'm busy with my 3rd term (3rd year) major subjects. Moved to a new place (nearer school) last week and well just haven't gotten the chance to blog and take pictures (hehehe, unfortunately didn't get to bring my tripod along with me so taking pictures of myself has become quite a problem).

This is a picture of where I'm staying now. It's a condominium residence village type of place and it's 10 minutes away from school. So yeaaay! for me. :) Pretty place eh? Plus I love the fact that my neighbors have the cutest dogs around. :)

On a completely other note, I finally received my gorgeous ring (I picked it out) courtesy of the lovely Sarah of LuShae Jewelry. I know how I've been missing lately and I am super sorry my loves. I am a busy bee this week. I am currently going through the phases of figuring out what to pack and what to buy for my trip back home (Philippines). I have to finish a shirt design for a friend and also go to my high school to help out with a friend's fashion show event. Wooohooo! :)

Last week, my brother and I got invited to our friend's suprise sweet 16 party. It was a formal wear event thus why my brother has a suit on. :) Hahaha. The girl next to him is the birthday celebrant herself, Ebun. Her shoes were gorgeous!! I just forgot to take a picture of 'em.

I had a photo shoot with friends yesterday and it was super fun and surprisingly exhausting. Hehehe. I didn't think modeling was tiring till yesterday and now I totally appreciate the fashion editorials and photos I see. :) This photo is just one of the several photos, Karl took of me. He has yet to send me the rest so I'm in suspense of the outcome. :D Hehehe. But so far, I love this shot. FYI, The lace dress I have on was my aunt's dress a long time back. :)

You Are My Sunshine

Hello loves, its been awhile and now I am back to a steady pace of blogging. I really felt bad for totally going AWOL last weeks ago so I'm making sure I update my blog as much as possible. :) I had a lovely weekend, busy in fact. Had a photography beginners session at a friend's house on Thursday and on Friday I had the opportunity of spending time with long time friends. :) Yesterday while talking with friends from church, I once again remembered how everything truly happens. Most of the times it's full of frustrations and emotions when certain things happen in our lives but in the long run, eventually something amazing does happen and it all just works out. :) The following pictures are some of the pictures I took during the photo walk session last Thursday. A photo walk by the way was a chance for us beginners to take pics while the sun was up high and it was bright outside.

On another note, I also tried out light writing since I finally understood how to change my shutter speed. Yes, I only found out now. hahaha. I am still learning but so far I love how the pictures turned out. I'm thinking of using other light sources to see the variation in the pictures. You'll somewhat see a shadow of my brother in the second picture (I did that on purpose so you could see what really happens).

This is what I wore yesterday. I originally intended to wear the skirt over my black top and then a belt but my mom said I looked younger when I wore it that way, so I sticked to wearing it this way instead. The wind seemed to be friendly with my skirt since my skirt wanted to fly away a lot yesterday. Hehehe. :) Please ignore my facial expressions, I was falling asleep then & remembered I had to take pics for my blog. Hahaha. Let Us All Smile and Be Happy

I am deeply sorry for being a bad blogger. I've been quite busy the past days and have only come around to posting something now. Last Wednesday I was fortunate enough to tag along with my brother and his band to a gig of theirs at a resort. Funny thing is my dad ended up taking the wrong turn to soon, and we ended up traveling to the end of the road (yes to the end of the road). Fortunately enough we got to the resort just in time. I have a couple of things to do this week so I'm not too sure when I'll be posting again but I am sure it won't take me so long. :) hehehe...

Anyways this was my outfit last Friday. I went for a colorful-hippie vibe. Fortunately enough, this time it wasn't cold at all, so wearing a dress was perfect. Black cover-up (bolero) over tube dress. Blue belt in the middle. Stud earrings, black rubber bracelets and necklace as a headpiece as my accessories.

While I was gone, the lovely Oana of Oana awarded me with this. So thank you my dear. Do visit her blog, she's such a great inspiration and blogger. :)

Now I'm suppose to write down 10 things that make me happy. It was a tough call since I am the type who would rather write everything that makes me happy down but I fortunately stuck to the rule of just 10. Hehehe. Have fun reading loves. :)

1. God.The acknowledgement of God’s love daily brings a smile on my face. Whether it may be a good time or a bad time in my life, it is comforting and inspiring to know that an awesome God is there watching over me, guiding me and protecting me.

2. Family. I would never be able to find the exact words of how much my family brings me happiness. Even when we fight or quarrel or argue, it brings happiness to me. My family is my support system and without them, I wouldn’t be who I am now.

3. Friends. I am truly blessed that I was fortunate enough to have friends I’ve known for a long time (most of them I’ve known for a year or more) and they’ve stuck by my side through the good times and bad. Whether it is a simple ride to school, studying together or at a mall, spending time with my friends definitely brings me happiness.

4. Babies, Kids, Children. Children of all ages (preferably below 10) always put a smile on my face. I enjoy the pleasure of holding a baby in my arms, cuddling one to sleep, or teaching one to draw or talk. The beauty of the innocence of a child is just so amazing and inspiring that I just have to be with a lil’ one when I see one.

5. Animals especially dogs. My family and I blessed to have a lil’ young one ourselves in my family and her name is Fifi. I feel like she’s my little sister, the one I’ve always wanted. I simply adore how she sleeps and cuddle her as much as I can. Her funny and quirky habits never fail to brighten up my day.

6. Cupcakes. I have this quirky trait of mine that I enjoy giving away homemade cupcakes. I love baking. I especially enjoy baking chocolate cupcakes. Not to eat them but to give them away to friends. The sight of seeing my friends enjoy the cupcakes I make just purely is well indescribable. I have a feeling when I grow old, I’d be this grandma who’d always be the one to cook the desserts.

7. Drawing doodles and other artworks. Drawing has always been a pastime of mine ever since I knew how to hold a color pencil (crayon, marker, whatever art medium there was). I don’t draw as much as I use to but I do try to make sure I doodle something every once in a while. Doodling and drawing have been such a stress releaser that I can’t help but feel happy when I do it.

8. Inspirational pictures. I enjoy looking through pictures with meaning, whether it be a photo of a person or a thing, or a photo with a meaningful quote. With technology nowadays, pictures are accessible through so much sites and with the right clicks of the keyboard, I can practically go through my own therapy session online (it’s free and its inspiring, what more could I want).

9. Sunrises, sunsets and rain. Nothing beats getting to catch a glimpse or watch the full show of the sun rising and setting. The beauty of such an amazing creation reminds me of how amazing my Creator is. The colors of the sky, the majestic clouds, the feeling of “heaven” is just purely fantastic.

10. Food. Maybe be the last on my list but not at all the least. I enjoy eating. Eating makes me happy. I'm more of the home-cook meals type of girl but I do enjoy the occasional fastfoods and restaurants out there. And yes I am the type of girl who loves rice. hahaha. :)

Careless Whispers of A Good Friend

I usually don't start my posts with pictures straight away, I usually write something but today my mind has seem to go blank. So pictures it is (for now).

Personally I thought the concert was short, I would have loved it so much more if it lasted longer. All the dudes in the pictures are friends except the dude with the guitar, he happens to be my brother. I know, we don't look alike (though I don't if you can tell here.)

Anyways since I knew I was bound to do errands for half the day (the concert was held at the last two periods of the day which meant 3 hours of me doing something to kill time), I made sure to wear flats. I wore a dress (as a skirt) which made it a bit harder when I had to bend down to take pictures. Thank goodness for tights! :)

Is This Love That I'm Feeling?

It was a beautiful day, last Friday when me & the family went to church. It was one of those days where we all woke up with smiles on our faces. Anyways I am loving the fact that there is love in the air. I guess it is because it's the love month but unlike other years, this year seems so much more positive & happy.

Even the flowers seem to have "love" in their air. I love the hues of red, pink and white here. (My brother calls the plant/flower at the right, cabbage flower cause it looks like cabbage.)

I adore my friend's shoes! I mean c'mon don't they look awesome. hahaha. I'd love a pair in red. Plus her outfit was cute. Plaid shirt over jeans and a vest-fur coat.

Unlike my friend, I decided to wear a skirt that day. I ended up freezing up since it was still too cold outside and I didn't bring a coat. Boohoo. Well I really hope the weather heats up soon, I really do miss summer. What I love about what I wore is that it made me feel all "girly". I enjoy wearing skirts most of the time when I can. :) If it isn't skirts, then dresses or shorts. Pants would always be the last option.

I just realized when looking at my picture that everything I have on is under $5 a piece. :) Yes, like many other bloggers out there, I am the type who enjoys the bargain prices. I enjoy finding something for a low price.

You've Got To be Noisy and Colorful and Lively

So I got to visit my high school yesterday since it happened to be their Sports Day and pretty much got to go around and take pictures and meet up with old friends. I can't believe that it's been 3 years since high school graduation and now it's my friends turns to graduate this year. Don't you just love the memories of high school & well the experiences and opportunities that stumbled by ever since you graduated? Cause I certainly do. :)

It was the perfect weather for half of the day till the sun decided to come out and shower us with its lovely rays. I think that means summer is pretty much knocking on the door now. Yeaaay girls & guys, it's going to be summer time soon. :)

The following pictures are random pictures of people that I took while I was there. Since it was their Sports Day the students and my friends, pretty much had their "play clothes" on.

Blog world, this is Misha, my friend who I mentioned in my last post. :) She's applying into a fashion design course this summer/fall. I love how she paired up her loose top with electric blue legging & her black blazer. Not to forget, she had this adorable necklace on, pixie dust I think? Ohh almost forget to mention her adorable black heart bag! Cute! I want one in red! :)

I knew I was going to walk around a lot and I also knew that it would get a bit hot outside so I made sure to wear comfortable clothes. In my case since I wasn't satisfied with anything in my closet yesterday, I rummaged through my siblings' closets (they're both boys by the way) and ta-da I did find stuff. hehehe.

Excuse the "face". My brother wasn't being all cooperative at that time. Hahaha. My hair seems brown here but it really isn't, I think.

Hello loves! I know I've been gone for a week and I'm really sorry. Last week has been a bit topsy-turvy and the weekend pretty much wiped me out. Aghhhh but it's all good, recharged and ready for this new week! :D

Went over to my friend's house yesterday to help her out with her profile for college. She's applying into a fashion design course (wooohooo!!..) so I'm really hoping and praying she gets in. :) So pretty much went and modeled for her yesterday though I have no idea how I did. Hehehe. I pretty much got blind sighted by her vast amount of jewelry and gorgeous house. Anyways I am hoping to get some of the pics of yesterday's shoot so I can show you all. :)

The first picture would be my friend's living room and the second one, would be there prayer room. Yess, I know right, amazing and gorgeous isn't it. You would definitely find me in either of the two rooms. :D I kinda forgot to change my camera settings so the pictures really don't grasp how pretty the rooms were. Sorry.

On a totally different and other note, Valentine's day is coming up and well I have no plans whatsoever. Hahaha. Except "maybe" trying to fix my hair like what the next pictures show. I stumbled upon this sometime last week and I love the straightforward easy to learn steps on how to style our hair.

Be the Light in Someone's Time of Darkness

First of all, I'd like to say thank you for everyone who dropped by and commented in my last posts. :D It means so much to me and I really appreciate all your comments. Plus, I really hope my art journal inspires you to make one or at least inspire you to be more creative in some way. Arts and crafts have been a passion of mine since I was a little kid so the art journal was something I really wanted to do. Plus I can't wait to read and look through it at the end of the year. :D Hahaha.

(On another note, some of you commented on the fact that I wake up pretty early for church. Well it's cause we live like errr 100km (estimate) away from it so yea, we travel to go to church. It's literally three-four cities away from where I live. Hehehe.)

Now back to what I really was going to write about. Yesterday was amazing and fun. The prayer walk was fun and inspiring. After walking 10 minutes from church we finally reached the Jebels (rocky, desert looking - old golf course) and well, it was truly a special moment. The view, the fellowship of young believers, doughnuts, laughter - it was definitely a "God sighting".

I can feel spring in the air. Hehehe. Finally I can start wearing dresses without tights! Hahaha

Yesterday I fell in love. I fell in love with Rosy (one of the youth leaders adorable dog).

Yes, I am a dog lover. :)

I forgot to take a picture of the view *yess stupid moment* Hahaha. Luckily I had a photo of the Balajadia family with the amazing view. :D That little girl, is Bianca but I call her Bianchi. She's the cutest, most adorable girl I know plus I love her. Yes, I do love babies and kids.

That's my brother (yess that dude there, you can't miss him) and his group. :) They were the lucky ones who got to the top boulder/rocky places first.

This would just be a quicky post, since I'm off to bed (yes this early since we'll be heading off to church tomorrow morning..service is at 8.30am and we leave home by 6.00am..which means an hour to get ready..wake-up time 5.00am). I'm really excited about tomorrow's prayer walk with the youth church. I just have this totally good vibe about it. :D On the other hand, went shopping today. Well actually more like went to exchange this shorts that were just too teeny weeny for me. I ended up picking up a cute dress that I'm dying to wear when spring comes (and definitely will be wearing throughout summer). I can't wait for summer!! :D

Anyways thought I'd show you the doodles in my journal/planner. It keeps me busy for the quarter of the day when I'm not blogging or tumbling or facebook-ing. Hahaha. :D Enjoy! :)

Hey there loves. Haven't had any interesting things to write about lately so I figured I'd post some old pictures which I took and edited before. I don't know, but I love the elegance & classy feel of a black and white picture. I mean colored pictures are amazing but so are black & white pictures too. :) Anyways these are some of the pictures I had back then, and I can't seem to find the original files :( Luckily, I've got them in an album on Facebook. Hahaha.

On another note, looking forward to Friday. Youth Church is having this Prayer Walk and well I know it's going to be an amazing and enlightening experience for me. :D

You can pretty much see how my hair has grown over the months. :D I used to have this short cute bob (which I miss) and curly mid-length hair (which I miss even more). I'm already thinking about what I wanna do to my hair now. whether to wait till it gets longer than get it curled or leave it as it is or chop it off (though Im sure I wont chop it off, a hella lot of people are gonna kill me if I do..hahaha).

Expect the Unexpected

Well a lot has been happening in the couple of first weeks of 2010 and well I'm so far excited for the rest that has to come. Most of the times, we never get what we want or how we hope things would happen but then again it's all cause there's something better planned for us. Something far beyond what we expect.

I was browsing thru my pictures of the weekend's sleepover and I realized I didn't get to put these up. the pictures were from my camera but my bestfriend took them.

So obviously the pictures didn't turn out that well, kinda. Hahaha. but I somewhat like the lighting in the right picture. I forgot to change the settings of my camera (olympus E-something) before my bestfriend took the picture thus the "yellow-ness" Hahaha. I thought I wouldn't like having an Olympus camera but I mean it's about how you work with your camera in the end. I am still kinda hoping for a Canon or Nikon. :D Hahaha.

I have a Tumblr account and well most of the time, I'm online, surfing thru different Tumblrs to well see whats going on. I stumbled upon this beautiful RED dress that has been, well on my mind lately. :D I've been thinking 'bout having a red wedding dress and I know how beyond traditional that may look, but I love the idea. :) This is me of course thinking about my wedding dress when the idea of getting married still doesn't suit me. :)) Hahaha. Not just yet, I've got school and a career to look forward to, but can't help it. Daydreaming.

On another far away topic. Hahaha. This would be what I wore a couple days back. :) My brother was the worship leader for the youth church that day so "black" was our color theme. Which meant wearing our black Tabitha shirt (which I designed by the way with some help of someone) and pants. I of course chose to disobey and not wear pants. Hahaha. Thus why you'll see me in a skirt and tights. :)

Had a crazy weekend this week and I hope I get to more of it soon. Sleepovers at the bestfriends was just fun. Will be putting up pics of out mini "photoshoot" and I have concluded modeling is hard..hahaha. My bestfriend kept on saying keep still dont move or do this and that. Grrrrrr "hard". hahaha

I've been thinking 'bout it and I figure I wanna make this blog more interesting, than just the photos. hahaha. I know I havent been the best blogger I could be, forgive me. So I had to, just ahd to change up the design of the dining room. Switched up the tablecloth with the curtain n curtain with the tablecloth. Which made alot of difference. Hahaha. Then added different centerpieces, more on candles for the New Year celebration. :)

This is why I love the holiday season. I have an excuse to dress up the rooms at home. In this case, I went all out in a red & gold theme for the dining room. I wish we had more table napkins, maybe I'll put that in the to-buy list for next year. :D The hanging center ornament (stars n ball) was done by me. :D Hahaha. Yes, I do enjoy the time consuming project of making handmade deocrations. :)

I know, I am sooorrry. The pics are so fail, they ended up blurry. :( The result of my "photographer" / younger brother falling asleep when I needed someone to talk pics of me. Hahaha. Well atleast you can sort of tell the design of the dress im wearing. It was actually longer, like below my knee (which is something im not used to) so i pulled it up & made it more of my usual length. :))

Anyways it has been a busy week for my family & I. We've been regularly attending seminars about First Sons, First Daughters. Great seminar, straight to the point & something I can relate to. :)

This lil slice of cheesecake was delish thought not your ordinary sweet cake. It was more zesty (lime & orange, I think) plus I think it had a bit of wine mixed into it. Hmmm?? Hahahaha.

My brother's failed attempt in his first ever cup of coffee. He diluted it with so much milk, it tasted like milk with coffee & not coffee with milk. :)) Hahahah.

I just love Fridays. It's the last day of the week & that means a start of a new week right after. :) Plus it means rising up early in the morning to travel 110km to church and just feeling happy to go there. :) Also there are the people I see get to see that one time of the week. :) Not to forget Mrs. Stapp's delish chocolate chip bars (even my two cousins love 'em).

Something to look forward to this week, Oasis (a week long seminar). My parents want my brother & I to tag along this year and well the speaker doesnt seem boring at all so I think, I will be tagging along this year. :) Hmmm interesting week. New things to learn. :D

Yeaaaay!! :D It's finally November, my birthday month! :)) Hahahah. Blog Hoppin' Day

So yeaay ~~boyfie~~, i meant guy friend (Hahahaha..excuse the term, I call all my guy friends boyfies at a certain time in my life). Well he got to help me out on fixing the wallpaper I did days back ago. So yea, obviously he's made it look better than before. So that just goes to show I suck at graphics. Hahaha! Well it's cause I haven't yet err learnt a thing 'bout photoshop & illustrator. But I will, really, I promise myself. :D

So today is blog hoppin' day which means random blogs/websites that showcase well my interests. In this case, the interest is interior design. :D Which by the way, I am an interior design student :) but I've been thinking bout transfering to visual communication (graphics design n all). Not sure 'bout that yet though.:| Pray, think & pray again. :) Hehehe.

So one of the best things about blog hoppin' is that you jump from one site to another to another, and end up finding great stuff. I am inlove with Niki Jones. Niki Jones was trained at the Scottish College of Textiles and the Royal College of Art in London. She currently owns her own company that sells unique designed and crafted items. I think I know what I want as a wedding present! :P

Today was a pretty alright day. Fortunately got the right lyrics for the p&w for the band at youth church, so I didn’t have to do any last minute cramming.

Celebrated my uncle’s 43rd birthday in advance (his birthday is on yesterday). A birthday celebration usually means food trippin. :D Yeahaay! Yummy biryani rice, grilled chicken, brother’s fave broasted/crispy chicken & french fries!! :D Yumm-O!

As seen on my post way back, my baby cousins are the most adorable kids I know & I LOVE them. Today, I love them even more. :)) Hahaha. I rode back with my uncle & aunt so I got a chance to bond with the two lil’ ones. Unfortunately no camera in hand, so I wasn’t able to catch their cuteness. :) Plus I ending falling asleep on the ride back home, and to my surprise when i woke up, the two lil’ ones were fast asleep too. The sight of babies sleeping is just adorable. Don’t ya think? :)

Completely off the flow. Quick note to the head:: NEVER, EVER write anything on something that isnt yours, whether it be on a phone, notebook or itouch. Whatever object you could write on. This is because the owner just might read it. :

Hahaha. (Fortunately, I was quick to dismiss the persistent friend who owned the itouch I accidentally poured my heart & soul to. :)) Hahaha.:)

On another happy note, I'm happy for my brother and his girlfriend. :D Yes his girlfriend, I can actually say it without any consequences! Hahaha. Piece of advice from one who may be older than you, its best to let your parents know when you’re in a relatiopnship, secrecy will do you no good. :)) Really.

So I was pretty much on this trashy, crappy, bad vibe mood a couple hours back but after some reflection (designing & music), I am back to happy me. :D yeay! Hahaha.

Well this is the result of me toying around with my editing software. This would be err a logo for the youth church, I am part of (well not really part of, Im not exactly youth age soon. I sing there sometimes :) hehehe)

Last night was AWESOME :D

Not enough words or even pictures to describe how amazing our PW Night was last night. It was just purely amazing, fun & truly inspiring. I truly hope the people who came, were blessed to be there, cause I know I definitely was. I hope my brother's friends found it inspiring. :)

Interesting things happened last night :)) Hahaha.

* Running around wearing an A-line skirt is NOT good at all. I had to hike it up so I could run here & there, bend over n carry stuff :| Hahaha. All done ofcourse, with grace & poise. :P

* Unexpectedly had 2 more of my brother's friends come along with us. Which was great but what was really funny was when we had to get 'em in. We used what Mikey said as our Filipino family charm, our undeniable happiness aura :))

* I literally ate so much. It wasnt funny, kinda. I mean literally. Hahahaha. There was lamb, biryani rice, noodles, chicken, fruit salad, macaroons, and more. How could I not resist? :P

* I got asked to be taken a picture with someone. Only me. OMG. Hahahaha. lol VIP feeling? It was sweet actually. Hahaha *blushes*

* We ended having to sleepover a friend's house cause my dad couldnt bring us all back home (we're a family of 5 and 3 of Norman's friends were there..5+3 = 8 = not possible). We live an hour away from church plus we have an old school Pontiac car that doesnt really do well with large number of people in it. :)) Hahaha. So fortunately, my mom's friend was willing to let us stay over. :)

The only sad thing bout last night was my bestfriend couldnt come along :( Well next time sweetie you can alright. Plus there's always mondays, wednesdays & fridays. :D

Feels So Crazy To Be In Your World

So this is how I am, if Im lazy and I dont have a clue of what to wear. I pretty much grabbed whatever I could find plus considering the fact that I was on my way to do hard labor at my destination, shorts was a must. :D Family project yesterday :: setting up the "place" which consisted of carrying uber heavy stage drops, endless adjustments of wirings & cables to its proper place, sound checks & lil what-nots here n there. We started fixing the place up around 9pm and got home by 2.30am. Yess it took that long. Pshwww no shots, I was just too busy working :| Hahahah Obviously not a fan of such work but I actually enojoy it, once in a while.

Well today's the big day. After endless practices 2x a week. Finally ready to belt it out, for 2 hours. Yikes! Hahaha. Hope I can get shots of me wearing our "uniform." Not at all special or pretty and Im not exactly following the exact required dress code. Hahaha :))

An adorable shop, I ~~WANT~~ NEED to go too while I'm still here at Sand Land. :) My bestfriend took the pictures. She was fortunate enough that the salesman let her take pics inside the shop. I mean, what's not to love about the place. The wallpaper is gorgeous, the color scheme reminds me of my other bestfriend, and have you seen the chandelier?!! It has been busy busy for me, in the past days, which explains the lack of posts. Sorry much. But I am back and finaly feeling better. Wooohoo not sick anymore :)

I wake up to the most annoying sound, the sound of errr wood being scraped or something. To my suprise, it was my brother "scalloping" his friend's guitar. I dunno if that's even the right term at all. Hahaha

My bestfriend and I had to tear all these college catalogs up. :| Yess it was tiring, fortunately the secretary told us we could judt dump the thick catalogs in a box to lessen the load; and it really did lessen the load. Hahaha. Saw the cutest catalog cover for Uni of Essex. Gingerbread men!! :D

Im still sick and I hate it, though it isnt as bad as yesterday, where I could barely breathe, chew n talk. Woke up feeling better than before so I'm taking it up as a good sign for me. Yeay!! :)

I know right. "Hott." This was edited by a friend of mine, Abreone (yess i know, its a unique name and I find it really cool. :D). I hope he doesn't see this :P Hahaha. Credits to him though, he used Photoshop, something I have yet to discover n tinker around with. It amazes me how people like him, just know how to do amazing stuff with Photoshop. Makes me all jealous, really in a non-threating way. Hahaha. Creativity + technology = wow. Just goes to show, Im so clueless about the Photoshop world. Hahaha. Well it's on my to-do list in life:: *Learn how to use Photoshop* :D

On another note, my brother's errr attempt to design his room, is really getting to my nerves. I guess its cause I'm sick. Blaghhhh. Anyways his attempt to design his room consists of random pictures stuck to his wall near his instuments and insanely "annoying" collage on top of his headboard. I truly love him with all my heart but sometimes my brother is just a pain. In this case, his design skills are my pet peeve of the day. Hahaha. I will soon figure a way to design his sad state of room, I just have to gather my random thoughts into actual paper :)

That would be my mum, totally delighted with her new coffee thingy. Hahaha. It's basically has 3 components to why she adores it: it's red, it has coca-cola written on it, it's for coffee (she's addicted to coffee).

Went to my alma mater to volunteer. For some reason, people didnt believe I was my brother's sister. Hmmm? Also they said, I looked like the younger one. Score! Woohoo :D Sick for today and I have a feeling I'll be sick for quite sometime. Bad case of the cold (the effect of singing practice in a really cold room :| bummerrrr..)

Being the only female child with two younger brothers, you'd expect my siblings to be one of the "black sheeps"..Ironically to the situation, I believe I'm the one to be labeled the "black sheep" or the "rebel"..It's not that I like doing the wrong things, I just tend to be the spontaneous, adventurous, outspoken mistaken for rebellion type of person. :)) Hahaha well I admit in most of the situations, I've done a wrong of some sort but nowadays I take it well with a positive and accepting outlook. You did it so might as well accept the consequences. Well now I'm grounded for a month. Boohoo but I'm not really that "angered" over my errr punsihment. That's just how life is. :))

Finally the connection allows me to post up pics without having to wait foreeeverr :)) hahaha..I think this was my attempt to look decent without showing too much leg. The dress is short, like "my dad doesnt like short dresses" so the tights did a pretty good cover-up. Decided to do the whole grunge, rocker look for the day; I think it worked out?? Hahaha..

Warning:: This wont be the last time you’ll read about me complaining of my lack of skills in the instruments department. Hahaha. I’m the only child who cant seem to play an instrument in the family!! It’s not like I don’t try, it’s just that I’m just not that into it. Sigh, at least I’m the only girl?! Hahaha. You see I’ve got two brothers, both crazy about music. One a drummer aka Rv (though his current hairstyle would make you think otherwise) and the other a guitarist aka Normandy (he’s more into his wife Red, his electric guitar than his other guitars/instruments).

Weekend craze. Bonding with family & cousins over at my aunt’s & uncle’s place. They’ll be leaving soon for a vacay back at home, wish I could tag along. Hehehe. But considering weather conditions there, I pray for their safety & the country’s too. I spent time with my adorable baby cousin boys who I just adore, absolutely.

Lessons of the day ::
* When called for an impromptu song, its best to smile & look like you know that you were gonna be called out; plus also remember to stick to the basics. Sigh, the perks of being a Filipino child. Hahaha. :P
* No matter how hard you try to reach out and be nice & friendly, sometimes your intentions just get misunderstood. But nevertheless, don’t stop trying, even if it seems like they hate you. Hahaha. :D
* Prayer can truly do amazing things to your life & others. Always have faith in whatever you have chosen to believe.

No, I am not in any way in depression mode right now. The title just happens to be a line from Leona Lewis' song Happy. My fave part of the song, that seems to just not leave my mind (lss, last song syndrome) ::

Learnt something last wednesday in service, all 'bout honesty in our relationships. Relationships with family and friends, relationship with God, and relationship with ourselves. I realize that sometimes we arent completely honest even with the most simple things in life. A simple example was said, of how a wife asked her husband, "Am I atractive?" The husband answered "yes", knowing if he said no, he would be in trouble. In reality the husband was paying attention to what was said, not what was asked. What the wife was truly asking, was if her husband still valued her. Rephrase of the husband's answer this time, being honest "Dear, you are beyond attactive outwards but also inwards. Because of your character, I fall more inlove with you each day. . ." And so on, sorry forgot the rest. Hahaha. But you get the picture.

On another note, heard about an upcoming "super typhoon" yet again arriving in Philippines sometime today. Grrrr, i feel sad not being able to physically help my fellowmen back home but as my friend said "Only those who put their faith in Christ can experience the peace that transcends all understanding." All I have now is faith, let's pray and have faith in God in the protection of everyone back at home.

By the way, it's OCTOBER!!..that means Youth Service starting, back to school = volunteering time, P&W Night (woohoo!!!..), dressing up for Halloween??, and a month away from my birthday :D hahahah..What are you excited for this month?..
